What is the Real Wealth Network?

Real Wealth Network is a company dedicated to helping its members create more freedom in their lives through ownership of income-producing assets, with a heavy focus on real estate investing. We do this by offering affordable education, a network of "tried and true" professionals, and personal mentorship/coaching.

Why do you emphasize real estate as a wealth builder?

Three reasons – leverage, tax benefits and asset protection. Show us another investment in which you can borrow as much as 100% OPM (other people's money) to buy the asset, and then keep all the cash-flow and equity growth for yourself, while OP (other people) pay back your borrowed money for using the asset (your tenant). And Uncle Sam let's you deduct many of the expenses for doing this! But what good is building wealth if you can't protect it? Liability insurance, umbrella insurance and LLC's protect your properties in ways not available with other assets. Mostly, we love it because you don't have to be rich to do it, but you can become rich doing it.

I am new to real estate investing. Where do I start?

Our website is full of information. Start by listening to our podcasts and teleseminars, reading the articles and newsetters, and then setting up a strategy session with one of our investment counselors.

Why does it seem that there's more of a focus on single-family homes on the Real Wealth Network website?

Owning a home is the American Dream. And if you can't own one, you'd probably rather rent one than live in an apartment or duplex. Homes tend to attract more stable families and renters who want to stay longer, and perhaps even eventually buy your home from you. Right now with all the foreclosures happening today, it is the "sweet spot" for investors. We've never been able to cash-flow on single family homes like we can today. It's like getting the income of an apartment with the stability and future equity growth of a home. Plus, it's easy. You've probably lived in a home, maybe owned one or two, so owning some rentals isn't so intimidating. Eventually when the homes are paid off, you can exchange them tax free for a commercial building.

Does Real Wealth Network promote commercial property, TIC's or multi-family property?

Absolutely. We have a network of experts nationwide. Let us know where you'd like to buy, and we will refer you to an excellent broker that we have "tested" for you.

I have a property that I am considering purchasing but it is not offered through Real Wealth Network. Can I speak with an Investment Advisor and get some advice on this?

Yes. We have helped hundreds of investors avoid mistakes and make wise choices by contacting us before purchasing. At this time, there is no charge for this service.

Real Wealth Network promotes properties in certain geographic regions. How do you choose these areas?

Some people say "invest in your own backyard" but we have found that it doesn't always make sense. We prefer to invest where the numbers work. We look for areas with these 4 things: job growth, population growth, affordability, and baby boomer appeal. Where there are jobs, there are people and therefore, renters and future buyers. We only buy properties in which the mortgage payment is one fourth the average monthly salary of the area – thus avoiding a "bubble." And we follow trends – the baby boomers shape our economy since they are the "elephant in the python" of our demographics. We want to know what their next move is and get there before they do.

But if the property is not in my back yard, who will watch over my asset?

We work with property managers, who earn 7-10% of the rental income. Real Wealth Network always offers a turn-key system, since we know you're busy. We select property managers with fabulous reputations. They don't want to mess up or we will pull our entire network from them. They work hard to keep us happy.

How do you choose your team of professionals?

That is the beauty of our network! We have so many members who share their success stories with us. If they are working with a great property manager, broker, attorney, insurance agent, contractor or mortgage company, they share that information with us, and our network grows. If we receive any complaints from our members, the professional is removed from our referral list.

How does the Real Wealth Network earn income?

We practice what we preach. We have created multiple streams of income from our asset ownership. Primarily, we are all investors ourselves, and have made our avocation our vocation. Every bit of research and education our network provides helps us become more knowledgeable and successful investors as well. Real Wealth Network earns income from radio sponsorship, website advertising, books, membership and event fees, and real estate commissions. You do not pay any extra fee for buying properties through our network and in many cases you get discounts on properties due to the network's volume. Our affiliates pay us a portion of their normal real estate commission.

How is Real Wealth Network different from other investment groups?

Many investment groups push back of the room sales. We do not. Keep your wallet at home! There is never any pressure to buy or do anything at our events, except learn. Some investment groups are not led by actual investors. We are, and can speak from experience. We've seen some groups that seem to take advantage of their members, selling properties that are in the best interest of the seller, not the buyer. We don't do that. We want a happy and successful network. We have open phone lines on the radio and are in business for the long run. We've seen some groups charge high fees and exorbitant commissions for their services (as much as 15%). We do not. We keep our margins very slim so that our network of investors get better cash-flow and equity. We make our money on the volume of happy investors we have instead of gauging individual buyers per transaction.
